South Skunk Watershed
Description of Watershed
The total estimated area in the South Skunk Watershed is 1,179,061 acres. This watershed is
located in parts of Hamilton, Webster, Boone, Hardin, Story, Marshall, Polk,
Jasper, Marion, Mahaska, Keokuk, and Jefferson Counties in central and southeast
Iowa.
The third resource concern for Tier II in this watershed is Wildlife Habitat.
Workshops
To help potential Conservation Security Program (CSP) participants learn more
about the program and the application process, NRCS offices in the South Skunk
Watershed are holding the following CSP workshops.
