Upper Wapsipinicon Watershed

Description of Watershed

The total estimated area in the Iowa portion of the Upper Wapsipinicon Watershed is 984,086 acres. This watershed is located in a small area of southeast Minnesota and in the Iowa counties of Mitchell, Howard, Floyd, Chickasaw, Bremer, Fayette, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Delaware, Linn and Jones in northeast Iowa.

The third Resource concern for Tier II in this watershed is Wildlife Habitat.
