Platte Watershed

Description of Watershed

The total estimated area in the Iowa portion of the Platte Watershed is 252,258 acres. This watershed is located in a five county area in southwest Iowa and extends into northwest Missouri. The Iowa counties included in the Platte Watershed are Adair, Adams, Union, Taylor and Ringgold.
