North Raccoon Watershed

Description of Watershed

The total estimated area in the North Raccoon Watershed is 1,594,053 acres. This watershed is located in parts of Clay, Palo Alto, Buena Vista, Pocahontas, Sac, Calhoun, Webster, Carroll, Greene, Boone, Guthrie, Dallas, Polk, Madison and Warren Counties in central and northwest Iowa.

The third Resource concern for Tier II in this watershed is Wildlife Habitat.
