Now is an excellent time for landowners to tour their fields and look for erosion. Especially check waterways and terraces to see if recent rains have damaged them. If problems are found, they need to be quickly repaired before more damage is done. NRCS offers technical assistance and programs that can help solve erosion problems and save soil. If help is needed, contact your county’s USDA service center."
