NRCS to Host Open House at Clarke Co. Fairgrounds

Des Moines, IA, Feb. 17, 2009 — The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is hosting an Open House for the Clarke County Water Supply Draft Watershed Plan and Environmental Impact Statement. It will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Clarke County Fairgrounds, 2070 Hwy. 34 West, Osceola.

This event will provide an opportunity for interested parties to learn about the draft plan with input into its development. Staff from the NRCS will be there to answer questions and record your comments. You will also be able to request a copy of the draft plan on CD.
