In addition to raising money and educating others about Trumpeter Swans, they formed a partnership with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Pella Windows factory in Story City to help a nesting pair of swans. The students helped to construct a nesting platform on one of the ponds at the Pella site so a pair of swans living there could have a safe place to raise their young. |
